The phrase "three dog night" refers to the Australian Aboriginal practice of sleeping with your dogs for warmth on cold nights when in the outback. The coldness of nights was measured by the number of dogs required to keep warm, the coldest of which was a 'three-dog night. I have 3 furry and fuzzy dogs who can vouch for this strategy. From personal experience, I recommend "JR", "Spotty" and "Romeo" for this task. Not only are they cuddly, they'll keep your cell phone safe and warm.
