It was 1939 - The Wizard of Oz was making its screen debut with Judy Garland (remember Dorothy?), Frank Morgan (The Wizard), Ray Bolger (The Scarecrow) and Buddy Ebsen (The Tin Man) and Margaret Hamilton (The Wicked Witch of the West).
According to lead Munchkin Jerry Maren, the "little people" on the set were paid $50 per week for a 6-day work week, while Toto received $125 per week (no small bones please).
The movie's line "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain." was voted as the #24 of "The 100 Greatest Movie Lines" by Premiere in 2007. "There's no place like home." was voted #11 in the same. "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore." was 62.
People will be paying close attention to your cellphone style when you debut Leo the Lion, Ty the Tiger, Beary Brown or Larry Lobster. There's no place else you can get 'em except at www.funfriends.com. When they get a look at your cool cellphone style, your friends and family will realize.....you're certainly not in Kansas anymore.
